Ready to give up on your old metal endpin? No matter where you set it, how you turn it or even slightly bend it, it still rattles and buzzes. And no matter how you crank on it, it still manages to let go and drop half a foot in the middle of your hottest riff. Not too good for your bass, to say nothing of your image. You’ve even tried drilling and tapping another hole 90 degrees off and adding a second thumbscrew, right?

That was us too, until we discovered carbon fiber- lightweight, stronger than steel and virtually silent. The BootHill endpin has a 15mm x 17 inch graphite carbon fiber rod with a threaded, pointed alloy tip for use with or without the heavy duty brass and rubber tip. The plug is solid ebony with a 1/17 taper for standard bass endpin holes, and the hardware is chrome plated brass. The secret to it’s smooth and solid operation is a machined brass disk that evenly distributes the thumbscrew pressure onto the carbon fiber rod.

No more need to keep a pliers in your gigbag, my friends. Just snug it up and it stays put.
